About David Longo

Entrepeneur operating across investments, conservation and international ventures.

David Longo is the founder of Atlas Investments and Zoo Trust International, with a focus on building long-term value through diversified assets, strategic ventures, and real-world impact initiatives.

David Longo’s story doesn’t begin in business—it begins with curiosity. As a child, he was already immersed in living systems, keeping aquariums and small pets and observing the delicate balance of life long before he understood the science behind it. That early fascination evolved into a lifelong pursuit.

Over the next 35 years, he would go on to work hands-on with hundreds of species, building one of the most diverse private avian collections and quietly mastering the art and science of captive breeding. He has worked with over 200 species of parrots, along with toucans, flamingos, and passerines—achieved several first breeding awards along the way, hand-raising thousands of chicks and developing a rare depth of understanding in neonatal avian health. But for David, observation was never enough. He pushed further, conducting independent vaccine trials within his own collection since 1993, managing control groups and studying outcomes firsthand. His perspective was shaped not in theory, but through direct experience—trial, error, and time. His work eventually extended beyond his own aviaries. He contributed to global genetic research, published dozens of articles across continents and languages, and brought together experts from 33 countries as the organizer of the 2007 International Symposium on Breeding Birds in Captivity—an event built around knowledge that, until then, largely remained uncommon.
He built, operated, and adapted across industries, from working with reptiles and aquatics early on to managing a private bird park, and complex ecosystems of all kinds.

But his path was never confined to one world. Parallel to his scientific work, David also began very young in a life of music with piano, drums, then spent over two decades in the nightclub industry as a DJ—an entirely different environment, yet driven by the same instinct: read the room, understand patterns, and move with precision.

Today, that same mindset defines his approach to business, investments, and life.

His early involvement in cryptocurrency markets provided a foundational edge in identifying emerging asset classes and navigating volatility with a long-term perspective. His broader portfolio includes ventures in real estate development through Home Life Red Coral Realty, as well as consumer-facing brands under Longo Enterprises. Across all initiatives, the focus remains consistent: building structured, scalable, and resilient operations that generate both economic and real-world impact. Across ventures in finance, conservation, and international markets, the principle remains unchanged: understand systems deeply, act with intent, and build with a long-term view.

Whether working with capital or living systems, the outcome is always the same—what you build only lasts if you truly understand it.
